Book Description

It's baseball made accessible for the casual to more well-versed fan. Covering minor league teams across the Carolinas, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi, it's complete with game recaps and player interviews, including a number of Black players (some of whom are now on Major League Rosters). Combined with special sections on the Negro Southern League Museum and insight from an umpire supervisor, it's a blend of the past, present, and future.

Book Review

There's really nothing minor about nothing Minor! It's a good read and I learned a lot more about the levels, Black players, and finding out about a museum in nearby Birmingham dedicated to the game is definitely interesting. It makes you pay more attention to the game!
