Chicago Writers Association 2022 Book of the Year Finalist
IN THIS 2nd BOOK, Glory Bishop finally breaks free of her mother's oppressive grasp. Against trusted advice, she chooses the protection of Malcolm, her much older, bad-boy-turned-minister fiancé. With this new reality, comes unexpected complications and temptations. Follow Glory in her search for independence, as she strives to be her own savior.
I don't think I have ever read a book that touched all my emotions. Glory & the rest of the characters in this book… had me smiling, giggling, frowning, gritting my teeth in anger & frustration. Even though Glory is a fictional character the emotions you have reading about her journey are very real.
